It will take a maximum of 3 to 4 hours for tinting windows. Tinting the windows of your vehicle is very beneficial. It provides a lot of benefits, it gives a good look to your car and maintains the temperature inside the car in both seasons summer and winter. It also prevents harmful UV rays from passing through. The first question that arises in your mind when you decide to tint your car’s windows is how long does it takes to tint windows. Normally, tinting the car’s window takes almost 3, to 4 hours. But before knowing how much time the process will take many factors should be considered because all these factors affect the time required for tinting. The important factor is the size of the window, the complexity of the design of the window, etc.

1. Size and Number of windows:

The most important factor that must be known before estimating the time is the size of the window. As small-sized windows take less time as compared to large ones.

Just like the size of the window, several windows to be tinted will also affect the time taken. If you want to tint more windows then more time will be required. 

2. Removing the older tint:

Before applying the new tint old damaged tint film has to be removed. It also takes some time to remove the older tint film and make your window ready for applying the new one.

7. Dry time:

After completing the process of applying tint on windows, now it’s time to let them dry properly. The time taken for drying depends on various circumstances like weather conditions, type of material applied, and some others.

You should avoid rolling the windows of your car for at least 48 hours because if they are not dried properly then they will get damage from the edges. For the next 24 after having tint on your window, prevent it from disposing into a dusty environment. It may also damage the tint.
