Vivo iQOO 10 series to be The first with a Dimensity 9000+ smartphone:
The iQOO 10 is already in the rumor mill, and we expect to hear more next month. The latest information coming from reliable sources claims that the series will be the first with a phone, powered by a Dimensity 9000+ chipset.
The Media-tek platform was announced last week as a minor upgrade over the Dimensity 9000. It has a slight CPU and GPU bump, as well as upgrades to the 5G modem and signal processing. The high-performance Cortex-X2 core runs from 3.05GHz to 3.2 GHz, and the Taiwanese chip maker has promised devices with the platform in the third quarter.
It’s safe to assume that the hype and sneak peeks will kick in next week, which is also the start of the new quarter. We have no word on whether the iQOO 10 or iQOO 10 Pro smartphone will run on Dimensity 9000+, but it could be either; we have to see if vivo will also use Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
