Vivo working on a 200W charger for the iQOO 10 Pro. The standard will be adopted in the iQOO 10 Pro smartphone, which could be released by the end of the year, according to Digital Chat Station.

A charger with the potential to provide 200W output to mobile devices has been certified in China, and vivo is now starting to manufacture it. According to Digital Chat Station, the standard will be implemented in the iQOO 10 Pro smartphone which could arrive later this year.

The V2001L0B0-CN adapter can charge at a rate of 20 V at 10 A and can also charge wireless chargers at a rate of 20V at 3.25 A, which converts to 65 W. The current flagship iQOO 9 Pro supports 120 W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

In the industry, a charger capable of reaching 200 W is nothing new. Realme also created a charging architecture that enables charging speeds from 100 W to 200 W. For customer safety, the charging speed of the Realme GT Neo3 smartphone was limited to 150 W, which is still the fastest charging speed in the world to this day.

Companies are always looking for new “World’s First” titles to post on their websites for marketing purposes, so we hope this record will be broken soon.
